Hello Westies! And wannabe Westies!

Once a month, we gather both valleys' dancers (Roanoke and New River) to dance and socialize—a social dance! This month, we will be in Roanoke, next month in Blacksburg, and so on, switching each month.

We usually meet on the first Sunday of every month, but this time, it's the second Saturday. Many of the community will be out of town for an event the weekend before- let us know if you want to join the road trip to Charlotte Westie Fest! We will resume our regular schedule in March.

It's a relaxed, friendly afternoon, and dancers of all levels are welcome to come and enjoy some West Coast Swing, California's state dance!

Saturday, Feb 8th, 3:00-5:30 pm
• All Levels Lesson 3-4 pm
• Dance 4-5:30 pm

• At Carilion Wellness - 4508 Starkey Rd., Roanoke - Studio A
(If you are not a member, you will need to sign a waiver at the front desk. Please arrive early enough to do so.)

• The cost to attend is $10 (Full-time students get in for $5).
First-time attendees get in for FREE! Whoohoo!
We accept cash, checks, Venmo, or PayPal.

• No partner or experience necessary!
• Wear comfortable clothes & shoes, no flip-flops.
• Bring a water bottle.

Our lessons are beginner-friendly and perfect for people trying social dance for the first time! We always have an excellent mix of beginner and experienced dancers, so the lessons are designed to have something for everyone.

The playlist is West Coast Swing heavy with some Latin, Ballroom, and Country styles mixed in.
